Plant Quality Specialist
Job Summary
The Plant Quality Specialist will report to the Quality Manager Caravanning Italy and must manage the quality control and quality assurance of the Plant in coordination with the General Manager.
Tasks
Ensure the quality of the incoming product from suppliers and manage problems in the internal production area following external disputes.
Ensure compliance with established mandatory and voluntary standards and in particular production control.
Comply with company procedures in the various functions subject to certification.
Provide all the necessary support to the customer to satisfy specific requests and identified qualitative needs.
Monitor supplies and manage complaints and disputes with the task of validating and certifying suppliers in the field of raw materials, semi-finished products and competing services to guarantee business activity.
Manage any non-conformities from customers, ensuring their success and quantifying the direct and indirect costs generated, activating and managing, on the basis of indications from management, any corrective and/or preventive actions that may be necessary for the correct implementation of the corporate quality established.
Continuously carry out the surveillance envisaged by the established procedures and control plans.
Periodically carry out internal and external audits of suppliers.
Actively and coordinated participation in the audits of the certification and control body.
Support and manage internal relationships with production, the technical office, the purchasing office and the logistics office in order to improve the product or the process.
Supervise the work of production and other company departments.
Develop and standardize documentation to support ISO9001.
Offer support in defining process and function objectives and indicators and carry out results reporting activities.
Carry out practical laboratory tests and trials (mechanical, physical tests, etc. ).
Participate in research and development activities in the field of innovative materials, taking care of the applicable control processes and compliance with the programmes.
Requirements and skills
Three-year degree in technical engineering disciplines or Technical Diploma.
2/3 years of experience in quality management and control.
Experience in organization and management of activities and processes.
Organizational and operational skills.
Knowledge of company processes and functions.
Knowledge of the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Knowledge of quality control procedures.
Good knowledge of the English language.
Knowledge of quality standards and current regulations.

San Casciano in Val di Pesa (Fi), Tuscany, Italy
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
