We are working with a very prestigious client of the food and beverage industry to find a resource focused on food safety and hygiene in a fast-moving consumer goods facility in BELGIUM.

The position we are looking to recruit is:

**Plant Quality System and Food Safety Responsible

They will coordinate sanitation, good manufacturing practices (GMP), HACCP and pest controls activities aimed to guarantee top-standards sanitary conditions within the production plant and warehouse facilities.

The person will organise and supervise internal and external audits, to assure the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness.

They will have full ownership of all the certifications related to quality: ISO9001, FSSC22000, certifications required by clients and local authorities, as well as ensuring follow up actions from audits are completed within appropriate timescales.

They will monitor KPIs and ensure central data collection related to quality, certification and management system run smoothly.

They will develop HACCP plans, through risk analysis; coordinate the Food Safety team and ensure training programs on Food Safety, GMP in production, pre-purchase scopes are well structured and provided within the plant.

**Requirements**:

- Master's Degree

- At least 5 years' experience within food production

- Mandatory experience in food safety, including ownership of audit activities and relevant certifications

- Fluent in French and English

- Excellent communication and influencing skills
