As a Plant Scheduling & Logistics Manager , you will report to the Plant Manager in the Manufacturing department based in Porcia for a permanent contract.
What you will do?
As a Plant Scheduling & Logistics Manager, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for overseeing production scheduling and logistics activities, ensuring optimal resource utilization, and meeting key performance targets while upholding our commitment to quality standards and environmental sustainability.
Your main responsibilities: Lead the manufacturing logistics department to optimize production scheduling and logistics operations.
Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with organizational objectives.
Allocate resources effectively to achieve departmental goals.
Drive continuous improvement through benchmarking and action planning.
Foster team growth and performance.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Manage inventory and reduce lead times.
Collaborate on safety protocols with the health and safety department.
What about you?
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and scheduling management within the industrial sector.
Proven track record of success in optimizing production schedules, managing inventory, and coordinating logistics operations to meet organizational goals.
Knowledge of relevant software and tools for production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
Commitment to upholding quality standards, safety protocols, and compliance requirements within the logistics and scheduling function.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers.
Fluent English language skills as you will be working in an international work environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify and address inefficiencies in the Supply Chain.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
