We are seeking a highly skilled PLC and Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Automation and Software Team. Under the guidance of the Team Manager and Senior Software Engineers, you will play a crucial role in the development, commissioning, and testing of advanced automation systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement PLC programs to optimize system functionality. Design and configure SCADA and HMI interfaces for enhanced user interaction. Perform AC drive parameterization and ensure optimal performance of VFDs and motors. Implement closed-loop control systems, including PID tuning, to achieve precise control. Draft and maintain functional software specifications. Manage the positioning of electrical and hydraulic axes, ensuring system reliability and accuracy. Integrate radio controls for remote operation capabilities. Oversee the commissioning and testing of PLC-based equipment, VFDs, motors, and hydraulically driven systems. Engage hands-on with equipment in both our Electrical Workshop and client sites to ensure operational excellence. Requirements: Proven proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA, HMI, and related technologies. Experience in the commissioning and testing of industrial equipment.
