PLC Engineer - Automatic Machines Development and implementation of PLC solutions for high-speed filling lines for the aerosol industry and interface between technical development and production.

For a long-established company involved in the manufacture of machine automation in the liquid filling industry that operates internationally, we are seeking a PLC Engineer with the following preferred requirements.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Design, implement and maintain software solutions taking into account the customer's requirements and the specifications created.

Develop high-quality code that complies with industry practices and standards (languages required: Codesys and programming capabilities for motion (brushless motors) and structured software for PLC Schneider, Siemens, and knowledge of ESA, Siemens touch screen software).

Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of the software.

Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with Sales, Technical Development, Production, and other stakeholders to elicit and specify requirements.

Create technical specifications and system documentation based on the requirements.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other test procedures to ensure quality.

Analyze, correct, and optimize existing systems.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Close collaboration with external developers to develop the optimal solution.

Maintenance and Support: Support troubleshooting and correction in productive systems, both remotely and on-site with customers.

Maintain and continuously improve existing software solutions.

Engage in continuous training and adaptation to new technologies and methods.

The Ideal Candidate Has the Following Qualifications: Education: Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or relevant professional experience in a similar field.

Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in PLC software development, preferably in the areas of high-speed assembly of components, automation technology, or in the bottling industry.

Knowledge in mechanics and pneumatics is beneficial.

Knowledge: Sound knowledge of programming languages and experience with databases, cloud technologies.

Personal Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, including proficiency in English or other foreign languages.
