PLC engineer - automatic machines Development and implementation of PLC solutions for high-speed filling lines for the aerosol industry and interface between technical development and production For a long-established company involved in the manufacture of machine automation in the liquid filling industry that operates internationally, we are seeking for a PLC Engineer, with the following preferred requirements. Main tasks and responsibilities: Design, implement and maintain sw solutions taking into account the customer's requirements and the specifications created. Develop high quality code that complies with industry main practices and standards. (languages required: Codesys and programming capabilities for motion (brushless motors) and structured sw for PLC Schneider, Siemens and knowledge of ESA, Siemens touch screen software Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of the sw. Requirements analysis: Collaborate with Sales and Technical Development as well as Production and other stakeholders to elicit and specify requirements. Creating technical specifications and system documentation based on the requirements. Testing and quality assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests and other test procedures to ensure quality. Analysis and correction and optimization of existing systems. Teamwork and collaboration: Close collaboration with external developers to develop the optimal solution Maintenance and support: Support with troubleshooting and correction in productive systems. Remote and on-site with customers Maintenance and continuous improvement of existing sw solutions. Continuous training and adaptation to new technologies and methods. The ideal candidate has the following qualifications: Education: Degree in computer science, sw engineering or a related field. Or relevant professional experience in a similar field Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in PLC sw development, preferably in the areas of high-speed assembly of components, automation technology or in the bottling industry. Knowledge in mechanics and pneumatic are beneficial Knowledge: Sound knowledge of programming languages and experience with e. g. databases, cloud technologies. personal skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills.
