Pm: Product Manager Assistant
Objectives of this Role**:
The Product Assistant will follow set pricing strategies, always in support of the Glenair Guiding Principles, for marketing and product development to achieve product line revenue and gross margin growth targets.
In particular has the following tasks:
- Develop and agree with Product Manager pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing Glenair worldwide profits and Glenair Company objective and share of the market while ensuring the customers are satisfied.
- Assist in product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.
- Interface effectively and establish quick credibility and confidence with: Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Business Development, Marketing Assistants, Country Assistants, Sales Assistants, Sales Reps, Distributors, and Direct Customers.
- Develop and implement (with Sales/Product Managers) strategic product plans for key product lines and identifies opportunities for new product lines.
- Filter and analyze all new product opportunities in line with strategy and Glenair capability
- Work closely with Marketing and engineering and ensure product engineering resources are prioritized
- Formulate and implement product strategies to meet revenue and gross margin growth goals
- Develop pricing schedules (on line and off line) and special quotes for sales
- Develop pricing strategies, balancing Glenair objectives and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and prepare technical and commercial bids and proposals
- Overall knowledge of the complete Glenair product range.
- Complete Other duties as assigned
**Training, experience and skills**:
An extremely talented and flexible individual with strong presentation skills, adept business knowledge, organizational abilities, and who is capable of bridging customer business requirements with technical features and broader market trends, indices, and capabilities.
- Degree in electrical and electronic or mechanical engineering
- Language: fluent (written and oral) both in Italian and English (Level C1)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Self motivated and able to work without direct supervision
- Must be well organized with a problem solving, proactive approach to business and have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
- Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
