The position As a Project Management Office Lead, you will provide over-all management and guidance to project activities.
You will develop and oversee the implementation of the strategic project management plan and align project activities with organizational goals and objectives.
You will effectively allocate and manage resources within the Project Management Office (PMO).
You will ensure optimal utilization of personnel and budgetary resources.
Your other responsibilities will be: Establish and maintain project execution standards and systems in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), Novo Nordisk project execution model and FFEx Project Execution standards.
Monitor and uphold quality standards for all capital projects.
Identify and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering.
Ensure project managers and construction managers achieve time, quality, and cost objectives.
Implement effective cost management practices for all capital projects.
Drive outcomes by holding teams accountable for financial objectives.
Implement continuous process improvement methodologies such as cLEAN and Systematic Problem Solving (SPS).
Facilitate training programs for personnel supporting the project portfolio in project management processes.
Develop project managers to execute projects aligned with strategic goals.
Support program governance and maintain transparent relations with the headquarters team.
Regarding your personal skills, we require high degree of cross functional collaboration and management skills, proven expertise in mentoring, change management, and stakeholder management, proactive approach towards project goals and deliverables, able to manage priorities, result-oriented with a "can-do" attitude, organized and structured approach.
Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, Life Science or related field.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in similar management positions.
Minimum 8 years combined project management experience in major investment projects, e. g.
as planner, cost engineer, risk engineer or similar.
Extensive experience working in complex projects in various roles including roles with project management responsibility, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries.
Proven experience in project management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong strategic planning and resource management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Familiarity with quality management systems and project execution standards.
Experience with continuous process improvement methodologies such as cLEAN and Systematic Problem Solving (SPS).
Knowledge of cost control and financial management practices.
Fluent English, Italian preferred.
About the department You will be part of the FFEx AN Engineering & Construction Management department based in Anagni, Italy.
Our project is part of a global initiative with sister projects in Denmark, France, and the USA.
You will be working on-site in Anagni, interacting with international engineering partners and collaborating across world time zones.
