This is a full-time on-site role for a Customer Quality Engineer, and the position created for organic expansion, reports to the IIM Quality Manager.
Main activities and responsibilities Participate in the APQP activity of the development team regarding the assigned projects, transferring the customer requirements to the project team, suppliers and productionInspections and checks of cars during start-upManagement of quality issues and plan on start-up projectsCoordination and carrying out of metrology activities (3D scans and control gauges) on products under launch. Ensure the correctness and completeness of the PPAP documentation to be provided to customers and support the SQE function in vendor PPAP monitoringEnsure the distribution of the customer's voice within the IIM BU and coordinate customer visits and audits. Monitoring of customer quality performance (PPM) metrics, external non-quality costs, status of customer specific improvement plans. Monitoring and Management of OEM customer portals. Interface with the main Luxury Cars customers for the management of action plans to introduce corrective actions in accordance with the timing of the GANTTSupport Engineering in the drafting/updating of PFMEADevelop Process Control Plans, taking PFMEA as inputAct as a team leader in the analysis of root causes regarding deviations during product development and reported by the customer in series production, proposing containment and improvement actionsManage customer claims (OEM and OES), coordinate the Problem Solving Team and compile 8D reports, transferring customer feedback both internally and to suppliers via the Supplier Quality featurePromote corrective, preventive and improvement actions related to implement production and customer activitiesDevelop Quality Books (Critical Quality) to share with customers for single projects during the start-up phase, in collaboration with the Quality Process, Engineering and R&D functionManaging requests for concession or derogation on products in production and be the interface with the customer. Visit the customers managed on monthly base or for specific issues and escalation Requirements Preferred Degree: Mechanical Engineering/ManagementExperience in QualityPrevious experience in the relationship with automotive customersKnowledge of the main Office Automation software packagesFluent in English (written and spoken) Technical knowledge In-depth knowledge of reference standardsUNI EN ISO 9001:2015IATF 16949:2016Measurement Systems Analysis Methodologies (MSA)Ability to analyze data cadKnowledge of the APQP process/PPAPKnowledge of the VDA MLA would be a plusKnowledge of the main quality tools for problem solving (8D, Ishikawa, 5 why)Skills Relational and communicative skillsAbility to work in Team and by goalsInternal and external customers orientationOrganizational skillsLean thinking techniques. Work location: Tolentino (MC), Montegranaro (FM). Availability to travel to customers HQ.
