NoOffer DescriptionThe PORTRAIT project (Port to Rail Digital Twin in the Adriatic Region) aims to create a digital twin of the regional port/interport system that is user-friendly for domain experts and capable of supporting the analysis of possible future scenarios, including optimizing the system's capacity and providing useful information for decision-making.

The digital twin will be based on three main pillars:System Data: Real data provided by Adriafer and synthetic data generated through microsimulation models by LIFT, refined using techniques developed by UNITS. Process Simulation Models: Developed by ESTECO with the support of LIFT, Adriafer, and UNITS, these models will enable simulations and optimizations of the system and will be calibrated semi-automatically using techniques developed by UNITS and ESTECO. Advanced Data Visualization Tools: Developed by IKON with the support of Adriafer and LIFT.
