About the TeamThe Portfolio Solutions Architect will be joining the Portfolio Solutions team at Nutanix, which is primarily based across EMEA, with a focus on key markets in Italy, Spain, and Switzerland. The team is known for its collaborative and innovative culture, where self-motivated individuals learn from one another while working towards the common mission of delivering exceptional unified storage solutions to meet customer needs. The team's commitment is to be at the forefront of cloud technology, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving growth in the storage solutions space.
You will report to the EMEA Portfolio Solutions Manager, who fosters a leadership style that emphasizes autonomy, empowerment, and open communication. This approach encourages team members to engage proactively, share insights, and contribute to decision-making. The role is remote, allowing flexibility, with no requirement to go into the office, although occasional in-person meetings may be necessary.
This position requires travel 1-2 times per month to meet with customers and engage with cross-functional teams. This travel will be integral to understanding customer needs and building strong relationships, ensuring you serve as an effective bridge between customers and engineering teams.
Your RoleServe as the main liaison between customers and engineering teams, ensuring customer needs are effectively communicated. Engage in customer-facing activities, demonstrating technical expertise while building strong business relationships. Support sales and marketing teams by providing insights into customer requirements and market trends. Utilize knowledge of unified storage technologies to influence customer decisions and advocate for Nutanix solutions. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and develop strategies for capturing market share. Establish a strong network with existing customers to foster trust and become a go-to advisor for their storage needs. Achieve defined performance metrics through effective customer engagement and market development initiatives. What You Will Bring10+ years of relevant experience in Software pre-sales and technical sales. Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN). Strong knowledge of SMB, NFS, S3 Protocols. Proven customer-facing experience requiring technical expertise and business acumen. Ability to qualify opportunities independently and influence customer decisions. Self-motivated with the ability to gather information on lost deals. Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, and engineering teams. Spanish language skills are a plus.
