**THE ROLE

You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.

The Nanotechnology for Precision Medicine research unit is seeking an outstanding postdoctoral fellow to conduct basic and translational research on novel chemo-immunotherapies and their delivery via biodegradable, implantable polymer systems for the treatment of high-grade gliomas.

The position is for an initial 2-year term, renewable for an additional 2 years.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- A PhD in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or related disciplines;

- Experience in the fabrication and characterization of drug delivery systems;

- Experience with mammalian cell culture and small animal models;

- Ability to design and conduct in-vitro/in-vivo experiments;

- Strong verbal and written communication skills;

- Good command of spoken and written English.

**ADDITIONAL SKILLS

- Expertise in immunology and flow cytometry;

- Familiarity with orthotopic brain tumor models;

- Strong motivation to learn new techniques and methodologies;

- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment;

- Analytical reasoning skills and a growth mindset.
