YOUR TEAM You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, theoretical and experimental physics and materials science experts collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.

The research focuses on ultrafast photoinduced dynamics.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Performing research on dynamics of quantum materialsCo-supervise doctoral students in the groupESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS A PhD in physics, and similar disciplinesDocumented experience in modelling materials dynamicsStrong publication recordAbility to properly report, organize and publish research dataDocumented experience in coaching junior scientistsGood command of spoken and written EnglishADDITIONAL SKILLS Experience in model or first-principles calculationsKnowledge of Mathematica or MatlabGood communication skillsStrong problem-solving attitudeHigh motivation to learnSpirit of innovation and creativityGood at time and priority managementAbility to work in a challenging and international environmentAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environmentCOMPENSATION PACKAGE Competitive salary package for international standardsPrivate health care coverageWide range of staff discountsCandidates from abroad or Italian citizens who permanently work abroad and meet specific requirements, may be entitled to a deduction from taxable income of up to 90% from 6 to 13 years.
