Post-Doctoral Research Position: We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a post-doctoral research position focused on the design, synthesis, and characterization of photosensitizing nanoparticles and innovative nanosystems to combat antibiotic-resistant infections.

This opportunity is part of the PNRR research project "One health basic and translational research actions addressing unmet needs on emerging infectious diseases" funded by the European Union under the Next Generation EU initiative. Designation:Post-Doctoral ResearcherResearch Area:Design, synthesis, and characterization of photosensitizing nanoparticles and innovative nanosystems to combat antibiotic-resistant infections. Location:The position is based at the Istituto Nanoscienze, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, with facilities in Pisa and Modena, Italy. A degree in Chemistry, Physics, Nanosciences, or related fields Ph. D. in Chemistry, Physics, Nanosciences, or related fieldsDocumented experience in synthesis and characterization of nanomaterialsProficiency in EnglishProficiency in Italian (for non-Italian candidates)Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on photosensitizing nanoparticles and nanosystems targeting antibiotic-resistant infections.

This involves designing, synthesizing, and characterizing these nanomaterials, as well as collaborating with the project team to advance research goals, and contributing to scientific publications.
