When: Starting on March 1st, 2025, till the end of the project.

What: In the framework of the Cascade Call associated with the project 'INF-ACT - One Health Basic and Translational Actions Addressing Unmet Needs on Emerging Infectious Diseases' (PNRR Mission 4 - Component 2 - Investment 1. 3 supported by the European Union - NextGenerationEU), TIGEM has been allocated resources to promote the project 'GENESIS - Unraveling the Molecular and Immunologic Mechanisms of Intrahost Persistence in Emerging and ReEmerging Arboviral Infections' (CUP I53C24001430007), aimed at investigating the mechanisms of persistence in arboviral infections. Principal Investigator: Prof. Mirko Cortese.

Type of Contract - Salary: Temporary, Full Time - The salary will range from 35, 000€ to 40, 000€ based on previous experience.

Minimum Requirements: Highly motivated and with excellent academic qualifications. Ph. D. in virology or related subjects. Experience in the field of RNA viruses. General knowledge in biochemical, molecular, and tissue engineering technologies. Experience in biosafety level 2 and 3 laboratories. Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge in light microscopy. Knowledge in CRISPR-based genome editing. How to apply: Candidates will be evaluated based on their CV and previous experience.
