Where: The workplace is the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine, located in Pozzuoli, Naples, Italy.

The duration of the contract is 1 year, subject to yearly revision. What: The Post-doctoral researcher will be involved in an exciting project that aims to develop new therapies for inherited metabolic diseases. Salary: The salary will be based on previous experience (gross annual amount range 24, 000€-33, 000€).

Candidates coming to Italy for the first time, or returning after residing abroad, may take advantage of very attractive income tax benefits. Essentials: Candidates should have a PhD in Biology or a related discipline.

Skills in cellular and molecular biology are required.

Mouse expertise will be a plus.

The ideal candidate should be strongly motivated and able to work in a research team.

Excellent technical skills and the ability to think independently and as part of a research team are highly desired.
