The Systems Medicine Laboratory at the University of Parma (Italy) is seeking two highly motivated, enthusiastic, and independent postdoctoral researchers to join a dynamic research group investigating exciting outstanding mysteries of metabolism and metabolic diseases.

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher located in Parma, Italy.

The successful candidates will contribute to ongoing research projects focused on:

Cholesterol biosynthesisGLP-1 signaling in diabetesQualifications Recent Ph. D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology or related field;Strong background in Metabolism is required;Proven laboratory experience in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Animal models (strongly encouraged);Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team;Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals is advised;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
