The Systems Medicine Laboratory at the University of Parma (Italy) is seeking two highly motivated, enthusiastic, and independent postdoctoral researchers to join a dynamic research group investigating exciting outstanding mysteries of metabolism and metabolic diseases. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher located in Parma, Italy. The successful candidates will contribute to ongoing research projects focused on: Cholesterol biosynthesis GLP-1 signaling in diabetes Qualifications Recent Ph. D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology or related field; Strong background in Metabolism is required; Proven laboratory experience in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Animal models (strongly encouraged); Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals is advised; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
