This position is financed within the project "National Center for Gene Therapy and Drugsbased on RNA Technology", CUP J33C22001130001, ammesso a finanziamento dal MUR con Decreto Direttoriale di concessione delle agevolazioni n. 1035 del 17 giugno 2022, in risposta all'Avviso N. 3138 del 16/12/2021 che dà attuazione all'Investimento 1. 4 - "Potenziamento strutture di ricerca e creazione di "campioni nazionali di R&S" su alcune Key Enabling Technologies", Componente 2 "Dalla ricerca all'impresa" del Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza.

**THE ROLE

You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.

The research focuses on the development of synthetic biology-based diagnostic and medical tools. This includes the engineering novel biomedical sensors for microRNAs in cell free extracts.

The aim of the project is to harness the capability of synthetic circuits to develop improved engineered T cell therapies.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- MSc degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology, and similar disciplines

- At least 6 months of experience in general molecular biology and immunology techniques (molecular cloning, PCR, DNA/RNA electrophoresis, T cell isolation and manipulation etc).

- Essential expertise:

- Cell biology

- Cell lines and primary cells culture

- Molecular Biology

- Flow cytometry

- Good command of spoken and written English

**ADDITIONAL SKILLS

- Experience in isolation of primary T cells from buffy coats

- Knowledge of immunology

- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment

- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment

- Possess Analytical Reasoning skills and a results-oriented mindset

**COMPENSATION PACKAGE

- A yearly gross salary ranging between 18. 000, 00 and 20. 000, 00
