**Posizione:**:We are looking for a PPC Specialist to join the System R&D Team, active in the modelling and control of Nhoa systems.
**Tasks and duties**:
Development of Power Plant Controllers for standalone BESS, Hybrid Plants and V2G infrastructures.
The activity includes:
- PPC design considering execution project specs
- Management and update of PROPHET PPC Library
- Unit and System Testing in Simulink with possibility to support HIL engineer for lab validations and internal trainings
- Support to Software and Project Engineers for plant executions, from design to commissioning (remote task, no travel need)
**Requisiti:**:**Requirements
- Seniority +2 year in R&D or Grid Integration Departments of Utilities or Solar/Wind/Storage manufacturers or EPC or +2 years in model development for transient studies as a Power System Consultant
- Familiar with: -Power Plant Controllers for Renewables and/or Storage plants -Grid Code compliance -Fundamentals of Power Electronics and Power Systems Control -Model Based Design -Automatic conversion of Simulink subsystems to PLC and embedded platforms -Git
- Solid Simulink and scripting skills
- MSc in Automation or Electrical engineering, preferably with PhD in Power Systems Controls
- Availability to work on shifts for a limited time during remote support to commissioning (max 60 days a year)
- Flexibility
- Not afraid of troubleshooting
- Preferably familiar with: -PLC/RTU/DCS hardware and control platforms -HIL platforms (Opal-RT or Typhoon) -Python scripting -PowerFactory or PSS/E or PSCAD -Optimization methods
