THE JOB – Pre-Certification Test Service Engineer MISSION & RESPONSABILITIES The aim of this testing service is to increase customer confidence to pass their final approvals (i. e.

RED, FCC, PTCRB, GCF, MNOs).

The service foresees, when needed, the presence of key customers in visit to attend the testing.

The deliverable is a test report including results and applicable suggestions.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS Education and Training Knowledge about:

Telecommunication technologies EMC and RF testing Radio technologies and electronics Radio Regulations (and related test requirements) of main markets (US, EU, AU) Good English (C1), both spoken and written MS Office Experience EMC and Radio Testing, Standards understanding, Radio rules and normative of main markets.

Task/Technical Skills PCTS fundamental documents update: PCTS request file, Procedures, Summary of activities, RMA location file PCTS Activities Scheduling (PCTS scheduling file management): in order to meet as much as possible the expectations of customers in terms of testing time and deliverables.

Customer communications (mails, CC) through the available tools provided to Application Engineering (i. e.

Salesforce, Outlook, Lync, TeamViewer) Customer visit management Units setting-up for testing: collecting all relevant info and accessories to allow testing in EMC lab via network simulators.

Test plan definition: to find the best balance between testing time and useful results taking into consideration the number of different devices under tests, the radio modules involved and the target markets.
