No Offer Description The project aims to design and validate technological solutions to improve the management of grazing animals.

The proposed solutions include animal tracking and devices for monitoring animal's health-related parameters, validating a model for estimating the availability and quality of biomass on pasture by remote sensing, and conceptualizing a detection system for predation.

The data collected on pastures and animals will then be organized and displayed aggregated through a web platform to support farmers in management.

The objectives will be pursued through an initial phase of construction and validation of prototypes co-designed with farmers to better meet the real needs of the Italian pastoral sector and a large-scale validation phase where the proposed solutions will be tested on a large number of animals and farms in different agro-climatic contexts.
