Precision Technology - Engineering Test Manager

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As Precision Technology Engineering Test Manager within our Product Validation team, you'll be coordinating the Test team in the execution of tests to meet and exceed Agricultural customer field needs around the world.
Project activities are spread throughout various locations within the EMEA regions.
You will work closely with internal (and/or external) teams to understand the scope of work, goals, deliverables, and timeline to ensure projects and customer success.
This position works with the Precision technology Product Validation group to create the necessary test procedures and plans for the validation of those systems, then support to execute the validation plan on a variety of vehicles platforms and test benches.
It's required to Work with project managers and product validation manager closely in order to assure an accurate and timely completion of projects.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor the demand for testing services and participate in planning processes to ensure adequate resources.
- Develop, formulate, and direct testing processes and procedures.
- Coordinate the development of key testing deliverables.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of testing documentation.
- Promote and maintain the highest possible environment of teamwork and collaboration.
- Provide technical leadership and direction.
- Lead team to evaluate, review, and design new or enhanced testing methods or tools.
- Participate in development and execution of budgets, short-term plans, and long-term plans, policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to department budgets.
- Support all functions of the engineering test process - including risk assessment, test creation, and documentation of test results.
YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous team Management experience required.
- Experience in projects relating to software and firmware development, testing and delivery to market.
- Experience with agricultural practices and operations preferred.
- Experience in Agile (g. Scrum) software development processes preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Intermediate to expert level in Microsoft Project, aha, or similar tool.
- Strong administrative skills.
Must be very detail oriented.
- High level of patience and service.
Ability to motivate team members.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
- Fluent English.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time.
