Presales Engineer

As a key member of the sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying customer needs, designing technical solutions, and presenting compelling demonstrations to drive business growth in the mobile messaging sector. Position OverviewAs a Presales Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
This role involves creating prototypes, delivering proofs of concept, and presenting to a wide range of audiences, from C-level executives to marketing professionals and engineers.

ResponsibilitiesProactively identify customer needs, understand business issues, and drivers behind specific requestsDesign technical solutions, including creating prototypes and proofs of conceptDeliver custom presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects, matching specific client requirements to effective technical solutionsAssist the sales team with RFI and RFP responsesPresent prototypes, demos, and proofs of concept to diverse audiences, including C-level executives, marketing professionals, and engineersShare customer feedback with Product Management, Marketing, and Management teamsLead discovery discussions with customers and internal technical resources, converting learnings into statements of workRequirementsAt least 5 years of technical sales or field sales experience (sales engineering or professional consulting experience preferred)Minimum 3 years of experience with hosted messaging applicationsStrong technical background in mobile technologies such as SMS, OTT Messaging (including WhatsApp for Business), Push Messages, and IP MessagingTechnical proficiency in business messaging technologies like Email and IVRFamiliarity with web technologies such as HTTP, SOAP, REST, HTML, XML, and CRMProven ability to adapt presentations to the technical level of the audience and comfort presenting technical materials to large groupsFluency in both English and Italian (Spanish is a plus)Willingness to travel as requiredBenefitsCompetitive salary Hybrid working model with 2-3 days of remote work per weekOpportunities for professional development and career advancement
