Mission: Responsibility of the activities pertaining to the discipline within a project, in compliance with the technical project requirement, the assigned budget and the project schedule, assuring the cost optimization.

Responsible to carry on all the activities relevant to the supply of a static or group of static equipment with a vendor from the request for quotation to the final delivery, in coordination with the Post Order and Inspection department Key activities and responsibilities: During the execution of a project, the duties are: Prepare and discuss with Project Team (Project Manager and/or Project Engineering Manager) and Engineering Head of Department the execution strategy of the project (including the project schedule) and assure its application throughout the entire project life.

; Prepare Material Requisitions for Static Equipment , such as Reactors, Columns, Vessels, Tanks, Heat Exchangers, developing both mechanical calculation and 2D drawings, including Client and Company requirement inside the material requisition; Prepare Technical Evaluation and Tabulation of the vendor inquiredand cooperate with Procurement Department in the definition of Bidder list and short list of vendor before tabulation; Review and keeping continuously updated the Statis Equipment Discipline procedures, guidelines and standards; Interact with Client representatives and Vendors for all the technical topics impacting on the project both in time and costs; Guarantee assistance to the inspection and construction departments upon request as per project needs.

Provide feedback to Project Engineering Manager/ Head of Department concerning problems arising from application of standard methods and work instruction to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department; Conduct technical training as per department and Company needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Group for new Design techniques; Keep him/herself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline.

Competences: Experience specifically related to different types of static equipment for Petrochemical or Oleochemical applications (Pressure Vessels, S&T Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Filters, Columns, Plate Heat Exchangers, Reactors); Ability to review client specifications, prepare customized equipment specifications, prepare equipment inquiry/purchase requisitions, Competence in preparing equipment mechanical data sheets by the use of 2D Cad softwares & technical bid evaluations, Review vendor drawings & document, and interface with other disciplines; Knowledge of API, ASME, ANSI, PED Directive, TEMA and other process industry codes and standards is necessary; Ability to produce accurate project deliverables and maintain project schedules and man hour budgets; Skills & Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering +4/5 years of experience in the same position fluent English speaker and writer willing to travel for work Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment Job Location: Catania, Italy Si prega di inviare le candidature al seguente indirizzo di posta elettronica: *
