The Risk Management Department of Allianz Italia is looking for a Specialist to take part in the Price Monitoring Unit, expert in investment and financial topics. The Price Monitoring Unit team covers the following areas of responsibilities: Asset Pricing Monitoring and Independent Validation of the relevant pricing methodology. Second level of controls on asset prices; Consistency assessment of the valuation approaches and the effectiveness of the independent review processes carried out by the departments in charge of asset valuations; Consistency assessments through the application of appropriate alternative methodologies (e. g. , re-performing; benchmarking; etc. ); Assessment on the correct functioning of the first level controls put in place by departments in charge of asset valuations; Independent validation, both at the initial set-up or subsequent revision phase, of Mark-to-Model / Alternative Methodology models used by departments in charge of asset valuations within the investment process; Reporting of the above-mentioned results, controls evidence, and independent validation to relevant Committees. Key Requirements / Skills / Experience Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematical Engineering or equivalent. Investments, Risk Management, Consultancy or equivalent background with strong quantitative/analytic skills, preferably with 1-3 years of experience. Technical skills and expertise on pricing methodology related to both financial instruments and alternative assets (Bond, Equity, Real Estate, Private Equity funds, etc. ). Technical knowledge with programming skills (such as Python, SQL, etc. ) as well as familiarity with statistical software and databases (i. e. , Sofia, etc. ) and data providers (i. e. , Bloomberg, Refinitiv). Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders. Results-driven team player.
