About the job
The role designed for you:
An excellent opportunity for you, a talented professional interested in leading the definition and deployment of BU-wide pricing strategies for the Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives, a>1B Euro business unit; aiming to optimize price positioning and enable profitable growth year over year.
We are looking for you, an experienced, analytical and passionate manager, who will have a crucial role in maximizing the BU value generation, integrated in the Marketing department and working closely with BU executives and acting as a key business partner to the Sales and Finance teams.
- You will own the price management process, in partnership with the Marketing and Sales teams, by:
- Identifying key price / cost drivers and related sources (both internal and external)
- Providing a regular impact assessment on costs and margins, based on historical / expected trends
- Determining the optimal price structures and setting floor / target prices
- Developing pricing strategies, based on scenario simulations and "state of art" methodologies
- Coordinate the seamless implementation of pricing strategies / adjustments into systems
- You will monitor the actual prices and provide insights on price performances, based on a standard set of analytics
- You will chair the periodic pricing reviews and the rebate definition process
- You will lead strategic pricing projects (e. g. , process and tool optimization, IT systems)
The attitudes and skills we're looking for:
- You possess 5+ years of experience in Pricing, or similar roles, in B2B businesses
- You hold a Financial/Business acumen (i. e. , understand well the business and underlying financials)
- You own strong analytical skills (i. e. , ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions)
- You show excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You hold strong interpersonal skills (i. e. , ability to influence, lead, build relationships and negotiate with people)
- You work effectively cross-functionally, good understanding of the organization.
- You have previous experience in management consultancy is a plus
- You are proficient in Excel and comfortable working with software systems (pricing/quotation systems)
- You are proficient English, Italian and / or Spanish.
