About the Role: As an Account Executive for MuleSoft at Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to empower companies to connect their applications, data, devices and to automate their processes.
You will be a key member of a close-knit, cross-functional team that is responsible for owning and driving the go-to-market strategy for your territory, and leading the sales cycle.
Key Functional Competencies & Responsibilities: Sales and revenue growth according to quarterly/annual targets Pipeline generation and development Customer relationship management (including C-levels) Solution presentation through strategic value-based selling Business case definition and return on investment analysis Objection handling Continuous learning and development Market and industry foundations Detailed and valuable customer discovery and research Account team alignment and cross-group alignment Executive alignment and engagement Accurate reporting and forecasting Territory planning Negotiation and closing Post-sale engagement Preferred Qualifications: Proven track record of successfully selling software or technology solutions, ideally in the integration, middleware, or enterprise software space. Prior experience with iPaas, API management, Automation solutions is advantageous. Industry Knowledge: familiarity with integration software, API management, Automation and enterprise IT architecture. Understanding of the broader integration challenges faced by enterprises. Experience using CRM software, preferably Salesforce. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. High degree of emotional intelligence and an ability to build strong relationships. Goal-oriented and driven, with a consistent record of overachieving sales targets. Resilient and adaptable in the face of challenges.
