Job summary
Our vision for Amazon Ultra-Fast-Grocery is to establish Amazon as the first-choice grocery store for our customers worldwide.
We are looking for an exceptionally motivated, highly creative, analytical and results-oriented Principal Marketing Manager to drive Brand strategy and Awareness marketing for our International business (Europe and Japan).
In this role, you will be part of the central marketing team and responsible for building brand communication and design frameworks, and bringing this to life through awareness campaigns across digital and mass channels.
You will build the brand proposition and define key messaging for Amazon Fresh, 3P grocery partners as well as the overarching grocery business.
You will also track awareness development, create investment and activity plans, and partner with other Amazon teams to scale growth.
You will monitor trends to identify high level opportunities, provide recommendations and tactical support to local marketing teams, and manage expectations of senior leaders while scaling your learnings globally.

Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop a brand positioning framework for Amazon's grocery offering (incl.
individual brands) across Europe and Japan
- Deliver a message testing roadmap, raising the bar on content and driving conversion
- Develop and execute awareness marketing campaigns in partnership with central marketing teams
- Facilitate data-driven decisions with international marketing and business leaders, balancing business impact, efficiency and scalability.
- Own mass advertising budget proposals and alignment
- Indirectly (dotted line) manage 1x HC (mass media planner)
- Own the relationship with PR, and creative / design teams, identifying opportunities to drive increased synergy and efficient processes
- Develop key brand & messaging proposals for ad-hoc projects and strategic launches
- INTL Subject-Matter-Expert on awareness tracking research
About the team
- Background in online grocery market segment.
- Advanced degree in business, marketing or advertising.
- Experience leading cross-country, cross-function projects
- Experience working remotely.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working with/for creative agencies.
