For our headquarters in Rome, we are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join us. What you will doProvide technical expertise and guidance for Infrastructure systems engineering design and vetting activities within Infrastructure Projects.

You will oversee all aspects infrastructural systems to ensure projects success, working closely with internal and external architects and engineers to establish parameters, standards, and best practices for efficient and effective systems integration. Key responsibilities:Develop guidelines, standards, and best practices for Infrastructure systems engineering design. Review and evaluate Infrastructure designs for compliance and optimization. Provide technical support and guidance to Infrastructure systems engineers and architects. Coordinate and provide mentoring and development opportunities to the infrastructure systems team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Railway and Infrastructure systems. Engage with internal stakeholders and senior management. Provide technical guidance, planning, and logistical information for bids and tenders. What are we looking for? Chartered professional status. Minimum of 25 years of relevant experience. Ability to technically lead and manage the design process from conceptual layout to detailed design and construction. Experience of managing internal and external design interfaces e. g. , architectural, structural, geotechnical, landscape, mechanical and electrical. Solid knowledge of software for structural analysis of finite elements such as Sap2000 or other similar ones and for the development of graphic documents, such as AutoCAD. Experience with calculation tools of and use of Excel for structural analysis and check. Experience of leading and directing teams in a digital/BIM environment, coordinating civil services with those of other disciplines. Excellent written and spoken English skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills. What do we offer?
