We are seeking a Motor Driver System Engineer located in Milan (Assago). As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for product definition and architecture, product verification and strategic customer support within Allegro's Motor Driver product lines.

You will work closely with Allegro design and test engineers, marketing personnel, field sales managers around the world and with industry leading customers to:

Develop specifications, product architectures and product algorithms for advanced motor driver Controller (FOC) and Gate Driver. Learn the requirements and value propositions for various customer applications within the automotive, consumer and industrial markets. Verify proper performance of Allegro Motor driver through applicationsbased testing in the laboratory. Champion the generation of datasheets, applications reports and reference designs required to secure major design wins. Our customer base is globally diversified and this position involves national and international travel. Experience & Education RequirementsThe successful candidate will possess a BSEE/MSEE or equivalent. 2 to 6 years of Industry experience in Advance Motor Driver control and Gate driver. Knowledge on Development and implementation of advanced BLDC motor control techniques, including, for example, field oriented control (FOC), HF injection and initial position detection. Knowledge and Experience with at least one embedded system, FPGA, DSP or MCUMotor Control Modeling in Matlab/SimulinkA solid understanding of analog and digital electronics is essential in this position. Knowledge of high voltage/current motor driver is preferred. The successful candidate will also possess strong interpersonal and (English) communication skills.
