As we expand our operations in the UK and globally, its vital that we onboard excellent startup-seeking lawyers to both keep us in check and facilitate our fast-paced growth plans.

We are looking for a highly motivated, well-organized privacy professional with project management skills to join our Regional Legal teamas a Privacy Counsel.

In this role, you will review Getir products, services, and offerings for privacy issues, help develop, execute, and scale Getir's comprehensive privacy program strategy, conduct risk assessments, lead core documentation, and compliance efforts, and help to review, enhance, and manage the day to day operation of Getir's privacy program and compliance with global privacy frameworks. Day-to-day tasks and responsibilities will include:

Review and mitigate privacy risks in connection with Getir's products, services, and offerings.

Day-to-day interaction with business partners, data protection professionals, business lawyers and tech-teams; Help develop and manage internal controls relating to privacy legal frameworks.

Collaborate with privacy and security professionals on projects related to ongoing compliance with data protection and privacy laws and related requirements.

Establish and manage tools, guidelines, and playbooks for documenting and tracking compliance with Getir's global legal obligations, including privacy impact assessments and intake management, initial privacy reviews, and assistance with resulting privacy and data security controls.
