Job Post: PROCESS CONTROL & AUTOMATION SPECIALISTHe/She is responsible for developing technical specifications, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations for the Plant Control System and Safety Instrumented Systems, besides the checks, verification, and coordination of the Vendors' development activities. The Specialist appointed to a project reports to the Project Leader and is able to execute the assigned tasks with a high degree of autonomy. The Specialist reports to the Head of Department for all activities not directly related to a project.

Key Activities & Responsibilities: To guarantee the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual requirements, in accordance with the assigned budget and schedule. This also includes verification and commenting on the Vendor drawings developed during the project execution. To assist the Head of Department in guaranteeing the application and the continuous update of the department and Company standards, procedures, and work instructions. To attend technical training as per department needs, including the knowledge and use of CAE tools, and to exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Group for new Design techniques. To monitor the market "state of the art" by preparing technical and commercial evaluations about new products, technologies, work cycles, applications, etc. , including knowledge transfer to other colleagues. To attend, on behalf of the department responsible for the Inspection and in coordination with the Project Leader, the Factory Acceptance Test of the Control Systems. To attend the system power-on and site acceptance test of Control Systems at the plant site. To assist Construction and Commissioning Departments, in accordance with site requests and project needs. Personal Attributes: First-level degree in a technical disciplineAt least 5 years of experiencePast experiences in autonomously executing tasks on projectsPast experiences on control systems factory acceptance tests and/or plant erection/commissioningFluent English speaker and writerAvailability to travel for short and long periods in Italy and abroad
