**Process Development Specialist**:

JOB MISSION

Supporting the development, technology transfer and scale up of the formulas to GMP facilities manufacturing processes, drafting, verifying and optimizing the industrial processes that guarantee the functional and sensorial reproducibility maximizing their efficiency and sustainability.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

deal with the industrialization of the cosmetic product, starting from the laboratory scale with the support of formula R&D up to large-scale industrial production, actively collaborating with the departments involved such as R&D, mixing department, planning, scheduling, PMO

manage and/or collaborate on improvement projects following the LEAN methodology, especially in the mixing department

active participation on non conformity on bulk

draft operating instructions and validation protocols

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Scientific bachelor or master degree (chemistry, biology, industrial chemistry, cosmetic science)

Basic knowledge of cosmetic formulations, specifically shampoos, emulsions, lotions and tonics

Knowledge of industrial plants

Knowledge of laboratory instruments such as viscometer, ph-meter, microscope, centrifuge, density meter

Knowledge of LEAN methodology

**Use of PC systems**: office package, SAGE, Dossier Manager, Coptis

Knowledge of Italian and English

Previous experience in similar activities of 2/3 years

Possibility of occasional trips in northern Italy

The role is mostly carried out between the laboratory and production departments.
