Process EngineerAs a Process Engineer, you will provide key technical support to the specialty paper production by ensuring the continuous improvement of the production process with regards to quality, cost, and productivity. You will be responsible to:Assure and contribute to a safe work environment. Build a close collaboration between Innovation, Maintenance, Production, and other Sappi production sites with regards to process optimization. Lead projects optimizing the productivity, quality, and cost of the production ensuring continuous improvement. Ensure the data collection and definition of process parameters for key production processes. Support troubleshooting and quality improvements through data analysis and engineering solutions. Your ProfileFluent in Italian and English. Strong sense for a safe work environment. Lean methodology knowledge would be a plus. Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate others without hierarchical mandate. Willingness to learn and share knowledge with others. University degree in process/chemical engineering; previous expertise in paper production will be a plus. Analytical, systematic, and practical approach to problem-solving. Good communication skills and experience in project management.
