Key Accountabilities Development of new practical powder coating processes Evaluate new ideas for development projects Interface with SMU for handover of development projects Assessment of Health Safety and Environmental impact of new processes Cost control Interface with SMU Project Managers - equipment specifications Operations Standards – writing and maintaining standards Provide support for specific projects in production facilities when requested Process Development - Prove concepts and develop equipment packages with documentation for handover to SMU for final implementation Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, procedures and standards including; HSE, and housekeeping.

Actively participate in initiatives that promote these areas that fall under position responsibilities Analyzes business case for projects Assists in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Ensure compliance with AkzoNobel Code of Conduct, and demonstrate integrity and responsibility in our actions REQUIREMENTS Educated to minimum of degree level in Mechanical or Industrial Chemicals or Science and technology of materials PLC programming Good knowledge office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Sap System Native Italian language Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills, able to enthuse and influence.

Self-starter with the ability to operate independently & proactively, giving consistent and stable performance.

Able to establish credibility quickly in order to foster effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
