Join us!Your role missionReporting into the Engineering Leader located in Italy, the Process Engineer is responsible for optimising and improving the efficiency of the organisation's manufacturing and industrialization processes.

The role ensures the smooth functioning of production lines, develops new techniques, modifies existing designs, and coordinates process improvement projects. The primary responsibilities include:Analysing existing processesIdentifying areas for improvementImplementing solutions to enhance operational performanceInteracting with all teams involved in the manufacturing processEvaluating workflows and identifying bottlenecksProposing innovative solutions to improve productivity and qualityImplementing lean manufacturing principlesConducting process auditsDeveloping SOPsDefining electrochemical and control processes to ensure optimal capacity of our ElectrolyzersYour scope daily tasksDrafting and development of PFD, PID, and material balanceDrafting key Process Documents and finding the best solutions for process optimisationSelection and process sizing of plant equipmentSupporting the Project Manager and Product Engineer in alignment phase with the customer by participating in technical meetingsSupervising plant start-up procedures by personally supervising commissioning and start-up if requiredPreparation of operating manuals and plant start-up proceduresManagement of process data in the bidding phaseDepending on seniority level, co-ordinate the activities of project teams in the role of Project Specialist LeaderYour profileQualifications:- Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering- Previous experience of 3+ years originating from the hydrogen generation and deployment sector is considered a plus- Good knowledge of English is mandatory; French is a plus- Excellent autonomy and problem-solving skills- Ability to work in a team of diverse skills, backgrounds, and approachesWhat we offerMcPhy's work environment culture:- Safety as a No. 1 priority- Strong corporate values: innovating, committing, adapting caring- International dynamic environment- Multicultural highly qualified team- Team spirit collaboration- Flexible work modelWorking conditions:Contract type details: permanent contract, full-time, depending on seniority starting with C3 level of Industria Metalmeccanica CCNLLocation: San Miniato (PI) - smart working 40-60Remuneration: 30. 000-40. 000€ + 10% MBO + profit sharingTravel requirement: occasional visits to parent company and providers' sitesSocial benefits:- Meal vouchers 5, 29€- E-learning platform- Public transport reimbursement, free parking, canteen service- Pension fund- Supplementary healthcare- WelfareMcPhy attaches great importance to the principle of non-discrimination in all its processes including recruitment processes.
