Process Engineer, Province Of Modena
Social network you want to login/join with:You will be part of our Engineering Team located in the new Modena site to be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering work to install new equipment, meeting stakeholder expectations for cost, schedule, project control, and reporting. In this role, you will work closely with our team of local and Japanese engineers through strong collaboration with all stakeholders to achieve the required production volume and implement new products for SMC MCAM's customers. In addition, you support process development, which determines stable process conditions, and implements new products/technologies developed by our R&D Team in Japan. Your Responsibilities:Collaborate with other managers to define equipment specificationsManage installation/modification of equipment, collaborate with other managers and local engineering company and internal engineering team from Japan HQ. Work with local engineering company to ensure project designs meet or exceed internal and/or external requirementsWork with local engineering company to obtain best pricing & terms. Manage project budgets, cash flows, and cost reportingMonitor project progress regularly and prepare detailed reports to managementCreate and maintain project documentationCheck the technical documentation from Local engineering companyYour Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor Degree, preferably in Chemical/Industrial EngineeringExperience as a chemical engineer or industrial engineer, ideally more than 10 yearsKnowledge of general mechanical, electrical, chemical engineeringKnowledge of Italian / European regulation, specifically ATEX, PEDItalian native and fluent in English (at least B2)Nice to have: 3 or more years of project management experience in the chemical industry, proficiency in software related to construction/project management (specifically Microsoft Excel), knowledge of building and electrical codesOur corporate culture is based on the values of integrity, respect, bravery, collaboration, and persistence, we call it "Our Way".
