In order to support our development in the transition to the low-carbon, we need to strengthen our Technological Lines on Low/Free Carbon Energies, Syngas and Fertilizers, Circularity and Bio-Technologies. We are currently looking for Senior Process Engineers to join our team based in our Rome office, Italy. You will work in the Process Department with the mission to promote innovation and contribute to the development of advanced low carbon technological solutions. You will report hierarchically to the Process Section/Department Head and operationally to the Process/Project Manager. About the Job Under the responsibility of the Process Manager/Department Head, you will be in charge of: Coordinating the project process design activities in all project phases, starting from conceptual design up to the detailed engineering phase. Managing external interfaces with the customer, suppliers, and subcontractors for all technological related aspects. Coordinating with the project management, engineering, and construction team for project execution. Supporting the Technological Lines in the R&D activities, including techno scouting and research activities with universities. Assisting in the preparation of technical proposals. After an initial onboarding period working on project execution as a senior process engineer, you will be gradually involved in supporting the relevant Technological Lines activities. About You We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: You have at least 5 years of successful experience in process design (simulation, PFD, equipment data sheet, and P&IDs preparation). Qualifications: Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering. Main Skills: Knowledge of process design methods and tools, familiar with process simulator software (ASPEN, Hysys, PROII, others). Familiar with managing all aspects of process engineering design. Must be able to work independently and within a team. What's next? Forecast Starting Date: Within July 2024.
