Making it safer, cleaner, and more efficient for people and the planet. Partner with the bestThe Process Quality Engineer works with the Quality Leader and Shop Leader to ensure Baker Hughes standards, processes, and procedures are correctly applied.
Leads and manages all operating quality issues (qualification plan including eSQM, eNCR, eSDR, etc. )
and drives the Shop continuous improvement approach. As a Process Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:Leading and managing the technical assessment of the capability of repair sources, supported by Repair Engineering Instruction and Manufacturing Engineering. Managing the eSQM system to open and close all qualification processes as per internal procedure, including timeline management. Defining and managing with the Quality Leader the Quality Plan annually to achieve the target. Managing the eSDR and NCR systems and supporting all roles on the Shop to implement the non-conformity approach. Analyzing all NCR and eSDR to define an operative continuous improvement plan. Driving and improving quality control to eliminate escaping defects. Creating, refining, educating, and implementing standard work to change the quality culture of operators. Supporting the Shop to implement processes as per procedures, corrective or preventive actions coming from NCA or escaping defects. Supporting all functions internal and external (mainly supplier) to the Shop to solve quality issues. Supporting the Quality Leader for QMS processes to be established, implemented, and maintained by reviewing internal audits (including station audits). Supporting the Quality Leader in training all company personnel in the documented company policies. Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor's accreditation in a related field or demonstrate equivalent, relevant professional experience. Have proven experience in Quality roles. Have relevant experience in a services industry. Be an experienced problem solver with a methodical approach to solving complex quality issues. Have lean training in Six Sigma, Green Belt, or Black Belt or similar is advantageous. Have the ability to travel within the country 30% and globally 10% of the time. Be fluent in both English and Italian and hold an EU work permit with no sponsorship required now or in the future.
