Procurement Manager - IPP Employer Renewable Energy - RAL: 40k - 60k + bonus For a revolutionary IPP based in Rome, a future leader in the Italian Clean Energy market, I am looking for a Procurement Manager (Rome). The company is a developer of solar, wind, and BESS plants, with a substantial €400 million investment recently secured and a significant expansion plan in Italy.

Additionally, numerous international projects are available, with similar investments signed in other countries. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Procurement in executing sourcing and purchasing procedures for the main components of Solar, Wind, and BESS plants. Key responsibilities: Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities. Maintain accurate inventory levels and place orders for materials and products. Monitor and track orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods. Process purchase orders and maintain order logs. Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues or delays in orders. Work with internal teams (e. g. , sales, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth procurement operations. Analyze market trends and product availability to assist with purchasing decisions. Help manage supplier relationships and negotiate prices or terms when required. Review product samples, specifications, and quality to ensure compliance with company standards. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and preparing reports. Liase with ESG Manager to monitor suppliers to ensure adherence to human right standards, fair labor practices, and diversity and inclusion policiesSkills & Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Good analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams. Good knowledge of supply chain principles. Proficient knowledge of English (must to have). Desired Experience:A minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing, supply chain in solar, wind and BESS sector (internships or part-time roles are acceptable). Familiarity with purchasing software or ERP systems. This role is great for someone looking to grow into a more senior buying or supply chain position.
