Procurement Category Manager
The Procurement Category Manager is responsible for the planning and management of the assigned product categories purchasing - particularly related to General Expenses and Sustainability areas - in line with the strategy, time and quality standards defined with the Senior Procurement Manager and Company Procurement Director.
- Is responsible for the management of the purchasing process of the assigned product categories, in line with the time and quality standards defined with the Manager;
- Contributes to the purchasing strategy, from its definition to the scouting, the needs' analysis and the management of the relations with suppliers;
- LVMH group Interface role (particularly for Sustainability Procurement area), promotes synergies and best practices among the Loro Piana and LVMH Group Procurement Community;
- Collaborates - in a co-ownership context - with the company stakeholders for the fulfillment of the internal SLA;
- Contributes to the definition and monitoring of the assigned categories budget, complying with the fixed saving goals and monitors the costs, defining and implementing the corrective actions to achieve the given goals, if necessary;
- Contributes to the improvement of the tools and procedures purchasing;
- Ensures the monitoring of the performance of the suppliers, proposing the evaluation's KPI, including parameters related with the compliance and the asset solidity, defining and implementing corrective actions, if necessary;
- Collaborates for the management of the Procure-to-pay process, ensuring its proper implementation.
**Profile**:
- Master Degree in Economics / Engineering;
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in Purchasing;
- Experience in the purchasing activities in one or more of the following areas: service contracts, A&P, IT, packaging, advisory, utilities, materials and external processing of the têxtile / clothing industry;
- Strong leadership in the management of employees and in the relation with suppliers and stakeholders;
- Excellent result oriented, customer focus, integrity, reliability and interpersonal skills;
- Strong computer skills and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office and SAP MM;
- Fluent English, both spoken and written; French is a plus;
- Willing to business trip in Italy and abroad to visit subsidiaries and suppliers.
