Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you as a talented Intern Procurement Engineer to help us in our mission!

You will be successful in this role if you are able to help us: Scout, research and contact potential suppliers and evaluate their suitability for our project Secure delivery of the parts and services required to build our Spacecraft Nyx on time, on cost Automate and digitize the processes related to all of the above in our ERP system Tasks: In your capacity as Intern Procurement Engineer your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include: To actively communicate with suppliers with the goal to deliver valuable information to the team and support a delivery on quality, on time, on cost To support the setup the digital processes for optimising the efficiency of the exchanges between suppliers and The Exploration Company.

To evaluate the core competencies of each supplier and mapping to the product roadmap while identifying risks To interact with all Leads in order to support to define the roadmap for the supply chain of all equipment To identify critical information and efficiently flow it to the relevant persons in the team To support creation of RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs and to support the procurement team during negotiations with suppliers Create Purchase Orders and track them for delivery and payment Your Profile Qualifications / Background Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration Ability to prioritize in view of the product roadmap Basic skills to work with risk management practices Knowledge in purchasing processes combined with a delivery mindset Looking for a mandatory internship Skills and Behaviours Ability to work equally well unsupervised or as part of a team Strong organizing and prioritization of tasks Positive and flexible attitude to get the job done Ability to communicate at all levels of the business Demonstrates behaviours consistent with The Exploration Company's core values of Commitment, Innovation, Trust, Quality and Teamwork Why you should join us!
