**RESPONSIBILITIES

The global precious metals recycling business is seeking a professional like you who will work closely with all BASF business units to ensure competitive and sustainable services are obtained for Precious Group Metals, PGMs (Platinum, Palladium, Rhodium, etc.

).

As a Procurement Manager in our unit CCM/R, you are part of the global procurement team.

In this role, you will be responsible to understand our global needs of Precious Metal Services for all SBU's globally and to develop and implement global procurement strategies in conjunction with the individual Business Units (BUs) and BASF global procurement team.

You will also engage global businesses and proactively work with global key stakeholders (internal/external), to ensure that services are supplied to BASF consuming sites within established parameters that are jointly set with the BUs and third-party suppliers.

**QUALIFICATIONS

- A relevant Bachelors Degree in a procurement and/or business-related discipline as well as relevant experience.

- Excellent judgement and strong negotiation skills and experience are required in order to negotiate new and manage existing contracts globally so as to achieve supply security and a cost advantage.

- Strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities will be

- Ability to communicate with all levels and various teams inside a complex organization, so as to collaborate and work very closely with different global production sites and strategic partners.
