**What you will do

BENTEL SECURITY, part of Johnson Controls, has established itself as a security benchmark: a leader in product design and manufacturing of a complete range of intrusion security and fire alarm control equipment and accessories.

For our site in Corropoli, Italy we are currently looking for a Junior Procurement Planner who will be responsible for the following tasks.

**How you will do it

- Place purchase orders to suppliers by MRP/MPS forecast requirements and production schedule

- Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials, including timely resolution, communication and mitigation of future potential problems

- Expedite or defer orders according with schedule/inventory changes

- Coordinate material flows throughout product BOM changes, obsolescence and the introduction of new suppliers and/or materials due to new product development

- Manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns and quality problems with suppliers

- Setup & maintain material master system planning parameters (MOQ, LT, Safety stock)

- Collaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of customer service, including recommending solutions, resources and alternative supply options

- Ensure and promote compliance to company and procurement policies and procedures

- Manages Indirect material and services by Purchase requisition process

**What we look for

- Graduation in management engineering or equivalent working experience

- At least 3 years of proven professional experience in one or more of the following roles: Sourcing buyer, tactical buyer, material planning in a manufacturing company environment (mandatory)

- Expert applied knowledge of forecasting/MRP and transportation/trading disciplines

- Proficient with MS Office suite

- advanced skills with MS Excel

- Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken

- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

- Analytical with a methodical approach to problem solving

- Ability to ensure effective teamworking, collaborative behavior and team spirit

- Ideally experienced in an Electronics product manufacturing industry
