Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

For the expansion and restructuring of our Ocean Procurement Department in Segrate, we are looking for 1 Procurement/Pricing Specialist.

The Procurement/Pricing Specialist assists in driving new business to JAS by negotiating pricing with carriers and/or managing price quotes to the Network and performing cost analysis.

It's a commercial focused role, working with carriers, service contracts, rate requests and tenders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Handle daily pricing activityWork with multiple departments to improve efficiency of processesAnalyze and process RFP's to produce desired goalsParticipate in on-site carrier meetingsAssist in the packaging and communications of procurement strategy to branches and commercial organizationsEnsure timely response to all inquiriesEnsure adherence to all company policiesQUALIFICATIONS: Strong Organizational skillsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast paced environmentHigh energy level, positive and friendly demeanorEXPERIENCE: Preferable Good Knowledge/know-how Import TradeKnowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point requiredSeniority level: Associate
