He/she will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of direct (raw materials and packaging) and indirect materials required to operate our Confienza Plant, negotiating with suppliers, executing projects and ensuring that all procurement processes comply with our company's policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Scope of Responsibility: Manage and oversee direct (raw materials and packaging) and indirect for the spend (+30m EUR spend) of the factory located in Confienza

- Project Management: Support and drive the execution of projects and strategies developed by Group Procurement related to the factory

- Cost Optimization: Full responsibility for local products/categories which are specific to the site.

Continuously seek opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement in procurement activities.

Drive synergies across suppliers with the ultimate objective to provide a competitive advantage to the Company and drive EBIDTA improvement

- Suppliers Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, delivery and cost expectation

- Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage potential risks in the supply chain, including supplier vulnerabilities, market fluctuations and other factors that can impact supply security

- Supplier Service Optimization: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers in case of a supplier service issue and develop and implement mitigation strategies to prevent reoccurrence.

Ensure goods and services are delivered on time, at the agreed-upon price, and to the required quality standards

- Bugdet and PPV: Coordinate recommendations for Budget process and understand and analyse in detail the PPV of the site and be able to explain and present the factory PPV results

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions in alignment with corporate functions

- Compliance: Ensure that all procurement processes comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

- Bachelor's degree: in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

- At least 5 years of experience in factory procurement, ideally within the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) sectors

- Experience in international and multicultural environments

- Good negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost-effective deals

- Demonstrated ability to execute procurement strategies

- Knowledge of relevant laws, compliance and regulations for OTC procurement

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

- Hands-on approach with a high level of ownership and accountability

- Self-organized, result oriented, can-do attitude, ambitious and able to work independently and in team

- Strong analytical, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills

- Fluent in English and Italian, understanding of French language is a nice to have
