Our Client is a Multinational Company Leader in electrification and automation.
For its Procurement Department, we are searching for a PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST.
Responsabilità
**Responsibilities**:
Sourcing strategy:
Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies in close alignment with the Category leader and the requirement of the business.
Negotiations:
Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions.
Excellence:
Run benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives and project/ actions to improve procurement tolls and process
Contract Management:
Create local contract amendments to Importante Azienda agreements on behalf of a country and updates/maintains Importante Azienda contracts.
Supplier performance and development:
On-boards new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and runs regular supplier evaluations and provides supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers.
Support the development of the supplier leading some project and support also
Orders management and SAP paraments:
Manage parts of sourcing initiatives under a defined threshold.
Initiates purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures.
Manage price list, lead
time and minimum order quantity in ERP
Business continuity:
support the escalation to supplier to confirm delivery date and guarantee continuity in case of shortages or supplier risks.
Project:
be parts of project involving the reshape of supply chain, outsourcing or reallocation of production
Communication:
Fosters communication internally, externally, and between different Divisions, Business Units and Functions and supports the implementation of PL activities and initiatives in the Region/Country through this clear communication.
Spend management:
monitor spend, cost reduction and price for the supplier portfolio
Functie-eisen
Your background
A Bachelor's degree in Management, engineering or equivalent
Experience in Procurement (preferred)
Experience with Excel advanced and preferred power BI
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proactive approach and a strong change management attitude
Agile approach and flexibility
Curiosity
Availability to travel
