Responsible for procurement of inventory and specific components for engineered to order projects.

Proposals, negotiation, order placement and follow-up with suppliers.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Procurement: Purchasing of general and specialized equipment, materials or capital goods.

Receives requisitions and checks each item for quantity, specifications and delivery requirements.

Maintains records of all requisitions to ensure purchases remain within budget and on schedule.

- Proposals: Issues requests for quotations, proposals or bids for those items not covered by any existing purchasing arrangement.

- Negotiation: Supports with negotiation of prices, lead times and other terms and conditions of the company and assures the best commercial coverage from each submitted contract (Liquidated damages, Bank guarantees, invoicing and delivery conditions).

- Liaises: Serves as liaison to vendors and suppliers and manage supplier's issues related to delivery, quality & pricing.

Internal liaise with Engineering, Project Management and Production

- Other responsibilities as assigned or required.

- Materials management/ Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

- Ability to easily interface with all levels of the organization, external vendors, etc.

**Education/Training Required**:

- Finished apprenticeship (Industrial clerk)
