JOB DESCRIPTION

Based in our headquarter office in Carpi, Modena (Italy), we are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual as **Product & Merchandising Analyst **to support women's category team.

This position will enhance developing and advancing the company's knowledge of customer behaviors through analytics and support client-centric marketing and sales strategies.

Primary responsibilities include developing and disseminating sales reports and analysis in order to impact product supply, inventory / assortments control, collection trends and forecasting demands and liaising between product design, marketing and retail stores.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyze sales trends for woman's category and report on all key metrics to to define market and consumer trends.

- Market Research, Competitor Analysis, Trend research.

- Define long-term development strategies for product categories.

- Cost analysis and consumer price definition.

- Provide inputs to the selection of styles for future catalogs based on merchandise plan and availability as well as merchandise performance to build an impactful catalog that drives sales and profitability.

- Review current assortments and provide recommendations for repeat styles and/or color expansion for next season.

- Develop of seasonal style count plans.

- Briefing design team for the collection (N. of styles/ N. of Style colors.

/ Mood)

Design, Proto and Samples supervision

- Serve as liaison between corporate product design / managers and retail stores to identify brand appropriate marketing opportunities to pursue.

- Develop and tracking of budgets and spending at need.

- Collection Presentation to sales Team and K/A.

- Work collaboratively across departments to understand company goals and challenge the status quo and offer up new ideas to drive sales.

**SKILLS and ATTITUDES

This is a great opportunity for people who have 5 + years of experience and these requirements:

- English mother tongue or fluent;

- Bachelor's / Master degree in economics, statistic or management engineering;

- Deeply knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, STATA, Statistical Analysis Software (SAS).

- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills;

- Elite level of attention to detail;

- Able at simplifying complex statistics for ease of understanding/presentation.
